April Fools Day Is Cancelled

April Fools Day Is Cancelled

Along with every other event, April Fools Day is cancelled this year.

Google announced that they would not be promoting any April Fools Day gags this year as it was insensitive. To be honest, I think it is because no one knows what to believe at the moment. Nothing would be considered as not being a possibility at the moment.

I only saw one post on Facebook with an AFD joke. The comments where divided: some appreciated the humour, whilst others found it insensitive and wasn’t well received at all.

We have to try to keep our sense of humour in these times but I agree that there is a fine line that perhaps shouldn’t be crossed. Mental health is so important and we need to make sure we look after one another, please keep smiling.
